Since 1985 when Gary and Gail Provost founded WRITE IT / SELL IT, their seminars, products and services have helped thousands of serious-minded writers (like you) make enormous leaps in their understanding and development of "story sense," dramatic structure, writing technique, self-editing skills, and the business aspects of being a novelist.

Because of Gary’s versatility, nuts and bolts approach, and supportive, entertaining style, he was a beloved teacher known to writers around the country as “The Writer’s Writer.” At the time of his tragic death in May of 1995, when he suffered a massive heart attack, he was considered the country’s leading instructor of writing-for-publication, and a heroic man for living to the fullest his personal and professional writing and publishing dreams.
